Virtual Fieldtrip - Arlington National Cemetery

Arlinton is such an amazing place and I would love to take my children. One problem, it's 9 hours away from our home and we just don't have to time to take a long road trip right now. With Kathy's product: Virtual Fieldtrip - Arlington National Cemetery we did the next best thing, we made a visit via the internet. We started out by reading the introduction. This gave us some background information that prepared us for our "trip" Next we visited the websites that are listed. These were a collection of YouTube links, websites, and blog posts with pictures. This gave us a inside look of Arlington. What an amazing place! We all learned so much, mom included! After the virtual tours we went over some fun facts. Then we completed our lapbook that will showcase all that we have learned on our trip!

Also included are ideas from lunch and snacks. We plan to give some of these a try. They all had a patriotic theme to them. To wrap up our tour you need a souviner to take home. Ideas for craft projects are included. We plan to make the American Flag cards this weekend to send to our troops! Kathy has several other field trips in this series! We can't wait to do more! Please check her products out on Currclick if you are in the market for some fun ideas!
