Over the past 8 weeks I have taught a group of girls in our homeschool group a class we have called Heroes of History. We used a video series from
Discovery Education called Animated Hero Classics as our base. It was hard to choose 8 folks to focus on. We would watch the video, discuss it and them have some sort of hands on activity based on the person that we learned about that day.
One week we watched Animated Hero Classics: President Abraham Lincoln. Our craft for that day was to make top hats like Lincoln wore! We found the idea
